In the Goodrich Lab, we study how neural circuits develop and function. Our goals are to produce knowledge and train the next generation of scientists in a supportive, welcoming environment that upholds the highest standards of scientific rigor. We place high value on interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches that allow us to tackle fundamental questions at the molecular, cellular, and physiological levels. Through journal clubs, lab meetings, small group meetings, and lab retreats, we work collectively to move our science forward and to help each other to thrive. We believe that people from all walks of life should feel at home in our lab. Current lab members come from all over the USA and from four continents. Our trainees contribute to society by applying their scientific expertise in a variety of careers, at the bench and beyond.
