Research Interests:
I'm interested in the transcriptional and molecular mechanisms controlling adaptive and maladaptive responses to noise exposure, and how these mechanisms may be targeted to improve the long-term health and function of the auditory system, including the preservation of synapses and spiral ganglion neurons in the cochlea.

Fun Facts:

What superpower do you wish you had?
Teleportation, so I could easily see all the places and people I want to see and still sleep in my own bed, and also never have to deal with traffic or parking

What fictional universe do you wish you could visit?
Avatar: the Last Airbender--mostly for the bending, but also for the turtle ducks
