Research Interests:
My research at UNC Chapel Hill is focused on the creation of an AR/VR environment to improve intro-operative neurological monitoring in awake craniotomies to simplify the delivery of pre-operative and post-operative tests used by neurosurgeons to diagnose brain function changes. My other research interests focus on understanding the molecular and physiological events that underlie pathological behavior such as alcoholism, chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression.
